Grade 2 Students 

 M2A - Mr E

This week, 2A have been working on using descriptive language to make our writing more interesting. To help us identify descriptive language, we wrote Acrostic Poems about ourselves. We considered our positive attributes and came up with some interesting words to describe these. 2A did a fantastic job reflecting on who we are and sharing this with the class.

2B - Miss Bailey

Over the past few weeks, 2B have been learning all about multiplication. We have learnt about equal groups, repeated addition and arrays. As a class, we brainstormed all the places we see arrays in real life and one of our ideas was city skylines, with the windows of buildings often making arrays. We decided to create our own little array cities. We then put them all together to make a massive array city, which just so happen to create 4 rows of 5 when we displayed it on the wall. Arrays really are all around us!

2C - Mr K

Over the past two weeks we have witnessed the most amazing Monty on The Mic presentations in our class. Each-and-every student should be immensely proud of their efforts. We look forward to cheering Phoebe and Orlando on as they represent 2C in our Year 2 Final.
