1A - Miss Morrison

We love Maths games! Here we are playing the card game, ‘Order, Order’. With a partner, you have to take it in turns to order all of the cards – we need to be strategic to ensure we get rid of all of our cards first.

We love our fortnightly yoga sessions! We learn different breathing techniques and superhero poses to help us to manage our emotions. Ask us what you can do when you are feeling like ‘The Hulk’!

1B have been writing procedural texts. Below is a beautiful example of - ‘How to make Fairy Bread’ written by Kyle P.

Over the last fortnight we have been learning all about money, it’s physical properties and value. We have also been looking at money combinations - how many ways can we make $5!

1C - Miss Wong

In Grade 1, we are learning all about money! Here is our 'How Much Is Your Name Worth' activity. Each letter has a certain value and we had to show it using coins. Then we added together them together and used coins to show the total value.
