Principal's Report

Dear Families,

Once again we’ve hit the penultimate week of term! Spring is trying its best to establish itself and we are celebrating another great term of teaching and learning. It has been great to see the students and staff enjoying a range of activities over recent weeks. These events provide a great opportunity for students to build on their skills.

This week the whole school attended ASHEfest, with two different experiences. The F/1/2/3 students enjoyed a day in the sun at the Rumbalara Football Netball Club experiencing an array of indigenous games, arts, dancing and crafts. The Grade 4/5/6 students had their experience in the Shepparton Sports Stadium due to a good dumping of rain. Thanks to the teachers for their work in ensuring our students got the most out of this cultural experience.

Next Thursday we will be out as our whole school excursion goes local. The students will visit the Shepparton Art Museum, Star Bowl and Lake Victoria. It has been a while since we have had the chance to have a whole school excursion. We are always confident that our students will model exemplary behaviour while representing our school in the community.

We have noticed recently that students are bringing chewing gum to school. Just a reminder that chewing gum is not permitted at school.

We are looking forward to celebrating Term 3 at our final assembly. We look forward to seeing many parents attend.

Have a great weekend,

Craig Thompson
