LAB TECHNICIAN OPPORTUNITY WITH HALLIBURTON

Halliburton are seeking a high school graduate with an open mind and willingness to try to join their Cementing PSL in Jandakot as a Lab Technician. This will be a full-time opportunity consisting of eight hour days from Monday to Friday.

 

Essential functions/responsibilities include:

  • Performs duties to conduct laboratory tests following prescribed procedures
  • Trains and becomes familiar with the chemical hygiene plan and the current HSE laboratory safety standards
  • Learns to build equipment and/or perform basic material or environmental tests using basic techniques with electrical/electronic, chemical, and mechanical equipment
  • Learns to documents test data for reporting purposes
  • Maintains files and documentation related to test equipment and test results of equipment
  • Incorporates reliability, HSE, quality analysis and project management techniques in all job processes

Halliburton will schedule a meet and greet session (2 hours max) where students/teachers can attend their facility to learn more about the company, the position and to tour the working environment and facility.
