Parents & Friends Association

Catherine Bligh, Secretary P&F

Many social and community activities have been happening around Kinross Wolaroi over the past couple of weeks.

A big shout out to all the parent volunteers who acted as readers or writers for the HSC Trial exams.  We wish all the students well as they move closer to their end of school final examinations.

The Junior School Reading Fundraiser was a great success, promoting literacy in the Junior School and raising over $4800!  These funds will be put towards the Performance Theatre improvements.  A delicious Pizza lunch was served to the class who raised the most money and Collins Books vouchers were handed to the children that read the most books!  The P&F are very grateful to the staff and families for their support of this worthy initiative.

On Friday, 2 September, a Father’s Day Junior School Breakfast will be served from 8am - 9.15am in the Glasshouse and Round Garden.  Dads and significant others are most welcome to socialise and “fuel up” for the day on a delicious bacon and egg roll!  You can register your attendance HERE.

All are welcome to the Annual exhibition of major works by students who have completed Industrial Design and Technology subjects for their HSC. This year the exhibition will combine with an official opening of the new Technology Centre for Metals & Engineering.  This exhibition will be held on 2 September from 6-8pm in the Technology Centre for Metals and Engineering.

We look forward to sharing more news with you again as the warmer days of Spring approach.

Thank you for your ongoing support.

Warm regards

Catherine Bligh
