DIVISIONS ATHLETICS REVIEW 

On Tuesday the 6th of September, some year 4 - 6 students competed in a Geelong North Division Track & Field event. It was a great day, and we were all really excited to be there. Everyone gave it their best shot and a few people even broke some personal bests. Congratulations to Sam and Lenny, they had a really great go, and are progressing through to the next round! Thank you to all the parents and guardians, who took the time out of their day to drive their children to the event, and come and watch them compete. And a big thanks to Mrs V for helping set up the day, we couldn’t have done it without you. Here are our school's results:

• Tuesday 6th September North Geelong Division track and field at Landy Field
• Ruby Slimmon: 100m dash & triple jump (3rd)
• Caitlin Wuite: 1500m
• Sayuni Dharmasena: 1500m
• Sienna Grgic: 1500m & long jump
• Elsa Grgic: long jump (6th) and Triple Jump (3rd)
• Shirley Rudd: Triple Jump (10th)
• Maddie James: Triple Jump (8th)
• Eve Kasper: Shot put (3rd) & Discus (6th)
• Harriet Povey: Shot Put (3rd) & Discus (7th)
• Lenny Closter: 100m Dash (1st) & Long jump (3rd) 
• Hugo Verbrugge:  100m dash (9th)
• Archie Sleep:  high jump (5th)
• Caden Biddiscombe: long jump (5th)
• Sam Zanoni: long jump (2nd)
