Grade 5/6

ARTS FESTIVAL 2022

In Grade 5/6 we are extremely busy and having so much fun getting ready for ARTS Festival next week.

Our theme this year is 'Street Art'. The students learnt a bit about Banksy and the passion he has to express himself, ideas and views through graffiti. We looked at what we wanted to portray about ourselves and to express ourselves through an art piece. At first we tried our names with a street art design and colour. We then chose a symbol or symbols that represent us and then we drafted what we wanted to create as our final piece.

ARTS Festival

Tuesday 13th September

3:30-4pm - Sausage Sizzle (all orders were to be in by today)

4pm-5pm - Walk through the school and classrooms admiring all the wonderful work and answer the questions to go in the draw to win some prizes.

5pm - 5:30pm - Theatre: P-4 Performance and a Lion King Performance
