Carols Night

Wow what a night we had on Thursday!! The rain held off and our Carols Night didn't disappoint. The students did an amazing job with their performances, showing energy and confidently taking to the stage. It was an absolute delight for all to have so many members of our school community in attendance.

We were thrilled to have raised

Colour Run

We had the most amazing Colour Run for Fun day this term. It was such a fantastic day and everyone had a great time, lots of laughs, smiles and loads of colour. We are not sure who had more fun, the teachers or the students!! We had such a successful fundraising effort for our Colour Run for Fun, raising over $11,000. Thank you to everyone that fundraised, we really appreciate it. Special mention must go to our top 3 fundraisers. Such an amazing effort.

  1. Viraaj (2A)
  2. Maverick (FC)
  3. Noah (4B)

The top fundraising class was Foundation C with $3338 raised. The class that came second was 2A with $3212. Because those classes were so close, both classes will be getting a special PE class with Mrs Bevis to play some extra fun games before the end of term.

Well done to everyone that participated on the day and to everyone that fundraised, we really appreciate it. We will update you next year, as to how we use the funds raised.

Professional Learning

On Friday for our Curriculum Day, our staff participated in professional development in Respectful Relationships education which became a core component of the Victorian Curriculum and is being taught in all government and Catholic schools.

Respectful Relationships is about embedding a culture of respect and equality across our entire community. This approach leads to positive impacts on student’s academic outcomes, their mental health, classroom behaviour, and relationships between teachers and students. You can read more information about the program here: Respectful Relationships
