Rugby League Tournament

On Tuesday 11th October, HPSC took out the Under 14's Robbie Kearns Shield Rugby League Tournament in the south east! All teams winning in a clean sweep and headed to state!!!

Around the Bay

HPSC took on ‘Around the Bay in a Day’ on Sunday 9th of October. Congratulations to the following students who attended - Lucas Easton, Ali Hussani, Sina Javadi, Zenani Onekon, Mengchhay Ouk, Jose Posi, Amir Qandai, Nima Rezaee, Edris Sultani, Carrar Yusofy and Christina Zhao. They cycled 50km from Albert Park Lake to Williamstown over the Westgate Bridge and back! 

It was a bright and early start at HPSC before starting the ride at Albert Park Lake. Mr Cram led the way to the Westgate Bridge. We had a spot of rain but made it over! At Williamstown, the sun came out and we took our first rest. We had a quick drink, snack and pumped up the tyres. We continued our ride towards Elwood, with a gorgeous view of the water! By the time we reached Elwood, we had a few cramps and sore muscles. Shout out to Nima, who had persisted with the 13th best bike (only 13 bikes…). Thank you to Edris for swapping for the 13th best bike for the last leg! Together, we encouraged each other and persisted through to the last leg of the ride. We could hear the beating of drums to celebrate our arrival back at Albert Park Lake. The MC cheered our names as we passed the finish line. We were each handed a medallion to wear with honour. 

At Albert Park Lake, we saw The Smith Family who have supported HPSC to make this ride possible. We are proud to announce we have raised a whopping $1,082.24 through this event for The Smith Family! These funds will go to disadvantaged kids in need.
