In our Garden

The first part of this weeks news is actually from Tuesday last week, when Grade 6C were able to have some relaxed and reflective time in the garden.  They were encouraged to draw and write about something living they saw either in the garden or around them.

We had some very creative responses.

The grade 6's also did a great job this week weeding our little patch of grassland. We still have quite a lot of work to do to get rid of all the introduced grasses!  Once the native grasses have finished seeding in a couple of weeks we will cut it short for fire safety.

Enjoy the Sunny patches between rain showers!

Happy Gardening,

Sara
