Performing Arts 

To finish a wonderful year, Showcase and the Nazareth Spectacular has so far been the highlight for the Performing Arts department. Showcase (6 October 2022) was a celebration of all work from the Visual Art, Technology and Performing Arts subjects. Visual Arts and Technology works were featured in the Ngargee room, and the Performing Arts concert took place in the Auditorium for the community to enjoy. All our musical ensembles were once again featured, and all our dance ensembles performed to a full house. The concert was very entertaining and there were many memorable performances.

The Nazareth Spectacular was the second part of Showcase. The Nazareth Spectacular is a compilation of multiple musical theatre items performed by our students in preparation for future College Productions. Our students performed under professional lights and were accompanied by a live band. Performances from the musicals Annie, School of Rock, Seussical and Mamma Mia were featured, and the energy levels did not drop from the beginning of rehearsals during Term 3 to the final performance on the night. The 2022 Nazareth Spectacular could be recorded as one of our best shows to date! 

We cannot wait to see what our students bring to the 2023 Nazareth College Production of Seussical the Musical.
