Regional Primary Athletics
This year was a special year for Primary Athletics. To begin the term we took 21 students to the Yarra Division Athletics Carnival which is by far the most students we've ever taken before. Of those 21 students, 10 of them made it through the Eastern Metropolitan Regional Championships. Those 10 students were Leni Stekelenburg, Julia Bawi, Rebecca Za Thang, Evelyn Zwarts, Kiara Hoenger, Kirralee Odd, Olivia Betts, Jakob Knapman, Jonah Van Seters and Billy Taylor.
This is an incredible achievement to make it this far in athletic competition. All of our students competed really well and although no one made it through to the State Championships, I was extremely proud of their efforts and their humility as they competed against the other students.
A huge congratulations to Kirralee Odd and Billy Taylor who won a 3rd place medal in their shot put events.
Well done to all those students earning a spot in both the Division and Regional competitions!

CSEN Sport
The Christian Schools Events Network sport program is reaching the end of the semester and we want to reflect on the fantastic year we have had. This has been a great opportunity for students to use their strengths within their team and learn to play as a collective. There are multiple teams currently placed in the top 4 positions. In the Junior competition, the Boys Basketball B team are currently placed 4th on the ladder in their pool, and the Boys Basketball A and Girls Volleyball A teams are coming 3rd. In the Intermediate competitions, the Boys Soccer team is 4th on the ladder, the Boys Basketball A and Girls Netball A and B teams are placed 3rd, the Boys Basketball B are placed 2nd, and the Girls Volleyball A team are on top in their pool! Good luck to the teams who are participating in finals, and well done to the Year 7-10 students for being actively involved every week; giving the games their all and encouraging one another!
