Indonesian Teacher

We are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic and capable teacher of Prep to Year 6 Indonesian, with potential for some Secondary. This is a part time negotiable position (0.80 FTE), commencing January 2023. This position could suit a new graduate or experienced Indonesian teacher. While the position is part-time the teacher will probably be required 5 days per week.

School Nurse

We have a position available for a Part Time School Nurse/First Aider, starting 20 January 2023. This position is for 2 to 3 days a week, between 10.20 am and 2.20 pm (with a half hour break), during school term time.

Ranges TEC Short Courses

Ranges TEC is a campus of Mount Evelyn Christian School. We provide short courses to local schools, as well as the general public. Our vision is to equip and train people for service, stewardship and work in God’s world.

FIRST AID LEVEL 2 (2 sessions, 5 hours each plus 4-6 hours of online pre-work) Learners must attend both sessions and complete the online work before the practical sessions.

Provide first aid HLTAID009

First Aid Refresher including CPR (HLTAID009), Asthma (22556VIC) and Anaphylaxis (22578VIC) The first evening of the full course is run in conjunction with the ‘Refresher’ course.

Participants will learn how to respond to a range of emergency situations, practice performing CPR and a range of other first aid treatments. Learners will also discuss and develop risk minimisation strategies and management plans for the workplace.

Dates of Delivery: Mon 7 Nov 4-9pm and Mon 14 Nov 4-9pm

Venue: Ranges TEC, 1/9 Hightech Place, Lilydale

Cost: $120 per person

YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID (blended delivery – online and 2 face to face sessions)

This course will teach you practical skills to support an adolescent with a mental health problem. Participants will learn how to recognise common mental health problems in young people, provide initial help using a practical Action Plan, seek appropriate professional help and respond in a crisis situation.

There is an online component taking approximately 4-5 hours to complete before attending the two practical sessions.

Dates of Delivery: Mon 7 Nov 6-9.30pm and Mon 14 Nov 6-9.30pm

Venue: Ranges TEC, 1/9 Hightech Place, Lilydale

Cost: $250 per person
