In a burst of industrious activity, some of our Year 3-4 students were keen to make the most of last week's wet weather.

This week the Prep - 2 and Falls Creek students have made the most of having the school to themselves, while our 3-6 students have been away on camp.  On Tuesday they enjoyed participating in Tennis coaching sessions and are making the most of the sunshine while it lasts.

Meanwhile, on camp, our Year 3-4 students have spent the first three days of the week exploring Science Works, the Museum, IMAX, the Immigration Museum and the Zoo.  A big thank you to Nicole, Kathryn, Kath, Joel, Mary, Belinda, Steve, Jake and Heath for all their work in providing our students with this opportunity.  For our Year 3s, this has been their first school camp experience and we really appreciate all that has been done to make it so positive.  We are looking forward to hearing more about their experience and sharing this with you next week.

On Tuesday, students in 5-6 departed for Wilson's Prom.  While there, they have been  enjoying the natural environment, learning about ecosystems and the animals that live there and braving icy waters for the thrill of riding a wave.  A big thank you to Mel, Dave, Michelle, Misa, Kevin, Andy, Tanya, Michelle, Audrey for all their organisation and coordination of activities and catering.  This is always a great camp and we are so grateful that our students have been able to have had this experience.  A big thank you also to Kath, Dianne, Jean and Deirdre for their support in organising meals and supplies for the camp.  This has been a lot of work, but greatly appreciated and has helped to minimise costs to families.

We are seeking help to run our annual school swimming program for this term starting at the end of November.  If you are avalible to help instruct a group along with Steph  please contact our office directly or have a chat with Steph Sanders.

Please note that due to camp, there will be no assembly again this week
