This week is Catholic Schools Week. Our school will join more than 620 Catholic Schools across NSW and ACT to celebrate the annual event. We have a number of events scheduled for the week. Today it was the Parent’s Picnic and we loved seeing lots of families and friends here to share lunch with us. On Thursday we have a ‘Peer Buddy’ session where our younger students will participate in activities directed by the older students. Mrs Rainger will also be taking the School Captains to Armidale for a Diocesan Mass with the Bishop and other schools in our region.

The School Photos are being taken in a fortnight on Tuesday and Wednesday the 21 and 22 March. Please make sure children are extra neat and tidy and in full school uniform.
Last Friday two busloads of extremely excited Stage One students visited the Inverell Show. We were entertained by 'The Crack Up Sisters' whose whole performance made us laugh. The good times continued as we watched the 'Flair' motorbike riders perform some thrilling tricks. After these shows we visited the many displays on offer and were able to see the Holy Trinity Ag Team washing their cattle for the show. As fun as it was to see the many exhibits at the show big decisions were itching to be made by the children. How were they going to spend their money? Would it be on a ride, a slushy, hot chips or fairy floss? Regardless of how pocket money was spent, it was a wonderful excursion for all the Stage One students.
Thank you must go to all the wonderful parent helpers who were able to assist on the day. We couldn't have had such a happy and safe Excursion without you!
