Sports Day 2018

Sports day was a little different this year with two separate programs. Our Foundation to year 2 classes worked through a number of different games and activities, while our year 3 to year 7 classes had a more traditional program focussing on track and field events.

We couldn’t have asked for a better day with the weather being perfect to conduct our sports day. We had a super turn out with many family and friends coming along to support and watch students in their events and games. With the lead changing a number of times throughout the day it was the green team that was too strong winning on 1147 points closely followed by yellow, then blue and red.

The final results were:

1st-    Green 1147 points

2nd-  Yellow 1103 points

3rd-   Blue 941 points

4th -  Red 903 points

From our results collected throughout the day we have picked our district athletics team to represent Grange Primary School in the SAPSASA Airport & Western District Athletics Day where we look forward to seeing our students compete against other schools.

To finish a huge thank you needs to be given to all the parents, friends, community members, students and staff that worked so hard behind the scenes in the lead up and on the day. If it wasn’t for them, days like this would not be possible and would not run so smoothly.

This was a fantastic day for all involved and we all look forward to it next year.
