Items needed at the college

School of Innovation and School of Possibilities families who have college uniforms that are no longer needed and who are willing to donate them, are asked to please leave them at college reception. The college is in need of some spare uniforms to supply to students who require a change of clothes during school hours due to a mishap.

Families who have a wheelchair or pair of crutches they would be willing to donate to the college, please contact Mardie Guppy at college reception mguppy@sackialla.catholic.edu.au or phone (03) 4812 2993.

Bus fare increases this term

To align with Public Transport Victoria's ticketing price increase, a small increase will be applied to the School Bus Program's fare for ineligible travellers. This change represents the first increase in the School Bus Program's fare price since 2016. The new fare is $125 per term ($500 per year) which is an increase of $5 per term ($20 per year). The fare increase will take effect from the beginning of Term 2, 2022 (note that Term 1, 2022 fare prices remain at $120).

School bus travel for eligible students (i.e. students attending their nearest appropriate government or non-government school or those with a fare exemption), will continue to be at no cost, and eligible travellers accessing public transport in rural and regional Victoria will continue to have the full public transport ticket price reimbursed through the Conveyance Allowance Program.

Adhere to reserved disability parking rules

There is reserved parking at the front of the college for people with an Australian Disability Parking Permit. Only people with this type of permit displayed in their vehicle are permitted to park in the reserved disability parking space. There are students at the college who need to use this parking at drop-off and pick-up, so please ensure that if you do not have a Disability Parking Permit that you are not parking in this area.

PAM main source of communication with families

Parents/carers are reminded to ensure that they regularly check the Parent Access Module (PAM) as it is the main source of communication between the college and families.PAM is the portal through which parents receive activity permission forms and important daily messages. The college does not use printed paper forms/notes to communicate this information. Parents/carers can also use PAM to check on their child's learning areas and to send parent-notified student absences. PAM is also the portal through which students' reports are accessed. It is important to log into PAM daily to check any updates or notices. If you have misplaced or forgotten your PAM login details please contact administration at office@sackialla.catholic.edu.au

Parents/carers can download the SIMON Everywhere app to get live notifications on everything that happens in PAM. Just search for 'SIMON Everywhere' on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, download the app and sign in with your PAM account.
