Welcome back for Term 2 at St Anne’s College.
We are excited to be able to welcome families back into learning spaces this term. It has been so nice to see morning reading taking place with family members and their children. I remind adults that reading is with your own children for the time being, and the music is our signal to finish up and for children to make their way to Pastoral Group spaces to begin their day.

Reminders
Drink bottles - St Anne’s College is a water-only school. Please ensure children have a labelled drink bottled filled with water. Drink taps are available to refill bottles.
Lunchboxes - We are a rubbish-free school - please send lunchboxes to school with as little packaging as possible; any rubbish will be returned in lunchboxes for disposal. Where possible, pack food in reusable storage containers/bags. We appreciate your support in helping us to reduce our school waste and impact on the environment.
Home reading - Children are expected to read to an adult if independent, or an adult read to their child, four times per week for at least 15 minutes. Learning Mentors will ensure texts sent home are at the appropriate level. This experience should be enjoyable for all; talk about the story, what’s happening in the pictures, who is in the story.
Learning Mentors - Please do not hesitate to contact your child’s Learning Mentor should you have any queries or concerns. Email contact is best. Please note, Learning Mentors are generally unable to check and reply to emails between 8:30am and 3:45pm due to teaching commitments, however they will endeavour to reply as promptly as possible.
Parent Access Module (PAM) - PAM is our main form of informing parents/carers of upcoming events and we encourage parents to check this daily. Download the app to access. Contact Mardie at college reception for any PAM queries.
We are looking forward to a fabulous term.

Year 3 children had a ball during their basketball session with Dylan from the Shepparton Gators as part of their Physical Education learning this week. Dylan was a hit with the kids, playing games with them to teach them basketball skills - they had hoops of fun!
