The Resilience Project
Last Wednesday parents from SFS were invited to join a webinar run by Martin Heppell from the Resilience Project. Some parents may not have been able to attend. It was also the night of our Junior school picnic due to a change of date.
For any parents who missed out on the webinar, we have a recording of the webinar you might like to watch.
Here is the link to the recording, which you can distribute to anyone who couldn’t make it:

SFS Community market and Art Show
We are very happy to announce that the SFS Community market and Art show will be back this year!
We look forward to celebrating this on Thursday 3rd November 2022 from 5pm until 8pm so save the date and put it on your calendar.
After missing out the last 2 years, we want the market and Art show to be back bigger and better than ever.
If you are interested in having a stall at the market this year, please contact me rlenko@sfslynbrook.catholic.edu.au
Screen Time
Our Year 5 and 6 students completed a wellbeing survey recently as part of the Resilience Project program. 36 % of the Year 5/6 boys reported that they were texting or messaging friends online between 10pm and 6am. This was much higher than the Australian norm of 21%.
Active April
This month’s action for happiness calendar is focused on improving our physical health and getting moving. With school holidays fast approaching, try some of these actions as a family to stay fit and healthy together.
If you have any concerns about the wellbeing of your child, please do not hesitate to contact me, rlenko@sfslynbrook.catholic.edu.au
I will be available next Thursday on Parent Teacher interviews so if I work with your child in a social skills group or Seasons for Growth program, please make a time to chat with me about your child with me to discuss their social and emotional learning.
