P&F News

P&F PRESIDENTS UPDATE

This has been a busy term for us here at the P and F with exciting and interactive events coming up next term! There has been such a great energy from all the parents around reconnecting and lovely to hear laughter (and hugs!) back in the school yard at drop off and pick up! We are really looking forward to seeing many of you at the cocktail night this coming Saturday to let our hair down and reconnect!

The Annual Sacred Heart movie night was a big success. We were blessed with great weather and had a huge turnout. Sing 2 was fun for all ages and it was lovely to see the children dancing and just being kids, interacting with each other on a social level. A big thank you to the volunteers, the principal Simon and the organisers, Kate, Suzie and Kathryn. We made approximately $3,500 which goes towards the parents and friends fund. We look forward to seeing the money going towards improving out school. Marielle & Co. are co-ordinating our very yummy and creative Easter baskets to be drawn next Friday so don’t forget to hand in your tickets and donate little treats to put BIG smiles on our lucky raffle winners!

Next term will bring us some disco dancing, some Mother’s day pampering and some new innovations to be seen around the school.

Wishing everyone a safe and relaxing Easter break.

Lisa and Nat

Outreach Program - Family support available

Sacred Heart offers an Outreach Program that provides support for families within our school community when in need of assistance.  This might include times such as when family members are unwell, ongoing illness is experienced within the family, during times of bereavement, or when welcoming the arrival of a new baby.

Support includes provision of meals as needed, along with help with transporting children to or from school.

This group works on an anonymity policy and details of individual circumstances are not relayed to volunteer helpers. We just work off the basis that someone needs help.

Please do not hesitate to be in touch with Cathie Beven on 0416 075 046, should you wish to receive support from the outreach program, or know of a family who could use a helping hand.
