Senior School 

Welcome back to all families for Term 2. We certainly hope everyone had a great Easter break. 

We have a busy term ahead with some significant events for each of the senior year levels.

In week 5, Year 10 students undertake their Work Experience placements, all students should be well underway with their planning and paperwork completion. There have been a number of posts on the Year 10 Team in regards to this, please check these posts or see Ms Penn in the Senior School office if you need further assistance. 

Semester 1 exams for Year 10 run between the 14th June -21st June.

We are underway with our Yr 11 Presentation Ball training and looking forward to a fantastic night on the 7th of May. Its always a great night for the College community and in particular the students involved. Exams for Year 11 students take place in week 7, 6th June-10th June.

Yr 12 students will be attending a Careers Expo in Bendigo, on the 26th May. This is a great opportunity for students to get information and talk to representatives from tertiary and Tafe organisations, there are also representatives from private colleges and the Defence forces. 

With the school year now being well underway it’s really important for students to be consolidating their study routines. All Year levels will be undertaking various assessments and SACs, so it’s vitally important that students are checking their Teams subject pages, as well as the Year level page where important information is regularly posted. Keeping track of assessment dates and due dates for work is the responsibility of students. 

To support students to be successful it’s really important to bring a fully charged device to school every day. Many subjects use Teams to present work and information, or do online research and students without a device put themselves at a disadvantage. If you need support acquiring a device please contact the College to discuss.
