What a wonderful afternoon we had on Monday. The enthusiasm, peer support and determination were infectious and we couldn't have asked for a better day with the weather.
A big thank-you to all the parents who came and helped setup, pack down and assist with the event. These days aren't able to run without your help and support and I am extremely appreciative.
A very big congratulations to everyone who participated.
Our House winners for the day were MANNIX with 332 points. Congratulations!

Team Victoria State Team Trials
Five students from Yr 6 participated in the Team Victoria State Team Trials last week. These trials are part of School Sport Victoria's emerging talent program with students trialling for a position in a State Under 12 team.
Congratulations to Kobe, Billy, Austin, Ellie and Indi for representing St Joseph's and showing their determination, skill level and sportsmanship. The competition at this level is incredibly strong and these students gave it their absolute best.
A very big congratulations to Kobe who was selected to progress to the next level in Football, one step closer to Team Victoria Selection- we wish Kobe all the best of luck at the next stage.
State Primary School Swimming Championships
A very big congratulations to Lachlan and Arthur who competed at the State Primary School Swimming Championships. What an incredible achievement to make it to this level.
Lachlan came first in both Freestyle and Backstroke and Alfred placed second in Freestyle and third in Backstroke.
It was wonderful to watch all their peers cheering them as they watched the live feed online.
Over the year I would love to hear about and share your child's sporting successes. Please email me jhayes@sjsorrento.catholic.edu.au
Thank-you for your continued support
