AUSTRALIAN MATHEMATICS COMPETITION

Again this year, Mater Dei entered the Australian Mathematics Competition, the biggest Mathematics competition in the world. It is an optional competition for all students from Year 3 to Year 12. Students are asked to solve 30 problems in 75 minutes with no calculator! This year we had 30 participants and of those participants 3 were awarded a Distinction, 7 were awarded a Credit and 13 were awarded Proficiency. A great effort. We would like to congratulate all participants and our top 10 students listed below:
