Primary Diocesan Winter Trials
On Friday 8 April, St Philomena's students travelled to Armidale to participate in the Diocesan Winter Trials. Hamish Coleman, Hugo Donaldson, Jackson McDowall and Harrison McDowall did a fantastic job showing off their soccer skills. Alice Gall, Alice Turner, Katelyn Scholl, Matilda Kilner, Jasmine Ryan and Sarasi Maheepala demonstrated great defending and attacking skills in Netball. Leeroi Stokes, Zach Hobday and Chase Swan completed some amazing tackling skills in the U11s Rugby League. Well done to all of these students!
A special congratulations to Alice Turner, Matilda Kilner, Leeroi Stokes and Zach Hobday who were selected to attend the Polding Winter Trials in Bathurst today Friday 29 April. Goodluck Alice, Matilda, Leeroi and Zach, wishing you all the best!
Secondary Cross Country
On Thursday 31 March, St Philomena's Secondary students competed in our Secondary Cross Country around the Moree Running Track. Our students did a fantastic job running 3km and 4km. Congratulations to the following students who were outstanding on the day:

Primary Cross Country & Fun Run
On Thursday 28 April, St Philomena's hosted our competitive Cross Country and our first ever Primary Fun Run.
Competitive students travelled out to the Moree Racecourse on Thursday morning to compete at the Cross Country event. It was a fantastic morning, showing off students' impressive long distance running abilities. Well done to all our runners on the day!

On Thursday afternoon, St Philomena's held our Primary Fun Run around the school. It was a fun filled afternoon showing off all of our students running talents. Well done to McAuley house for winning the War Cry Competition, Miss Johnson and Mrs Barnes had a tough time deciding on the loudest house. Thank you to all the parents who came to support and cheer on our students. It was a great afternoon had by everyone!
