Online Canteen Ordering
The Flexischools online canteen ordering system has experienced some problems this term during peak times, especially on Friday mornings. Flexischools is working to resolve the issue. Families are encouraged to place orders the evening before, especially on Thursday evening for Friday lunch orders.
Parenting Support
This week’s parenting article attached here is titled 'Five forgotten skill sets that contribute to student success'. Parents are also encouraged to go to the website www.parentingideas.com.au to access parenting resources.
Bullying. No Way!
Students were issued wrist bands this week in support of the national Bullying. No Way! campaign. They were encouraged to wear them for the week as a reminder to ‘look out for’ and ‘look after’ each other. A short video presentation was also shown to emphasise some important anti-bullying messages. Aitken College includes substantial material with an anti-bullying and respectful relationships theme in the Life Skills curriculum from Prep to Year 12.
