School Sports Victoria Year 7 & 8 Sports Day
On Tuesday 12 March, students from Year 8 represented Aitken College in the School Sports Victoria Woodlands Division. They competed against a number of different schools within the Hume City Council. The results from the day were:
A good day out for the Year 8 students and the Year 7 Boys and Girls teams are progressing through to the Northern Metropolitan Regionals on Thursday 9 May. Congratulations to all teams for participating. Woodlands Division Swimming Carnival
On Thursday 14 March, 56 students participated in the Woodlands Division Swimming Carnival for School Sports Victoria at Broadmeadows Leisure Centre. Aitken College dominate the day taking out first place with Gladstone Park Secondary College in second place followed by Roxburgh Park Secondary College in third place.
All students competed their best with a lot of outstanding results. Special mention goes to the following students who were named as champions for their age level. These students are:
- Jessica Y - 13 year Female Champion
- Niamh W - 14 year Female Champion
- Sebastian M - 15 year Male Champion
- Dennis N - 16 year Male Champion
- Antonio C - 17 year Male Champion
- Lachlan J - 18-20 Year Male Champion
On Wednesday 27 March; 50 students will progress to the Northern Metropolitan Regional Finals in either individual or relay events which will be held at WaterMarc in Greensborough. A big thank you to Mr Taylor, Mrs Wachter and Mrs Pocervina for their help on the day. Congratulations to all of our students on being fantastic sports as always.

The Year 10-12 Brookhill House Swimming Carnival was completed on Tuesday 26 February with warm and sunny conditions at Oak Park Aquatic Centre. Students competed in the traditional swimming events as well as water volleyball. Congratulations to the following students who were year level champions:
