Woolworths Earn & Learn
Dear Parents,
Woolworths Earn & Learn is on between 1st May and 25th June.
As this runs for a limited time, spread the word to get everyone helping to collect stickers; parents, grandparents, neighbours and friends.
Collect as many stickers as you can when you shop at Woolworths and stick them on a sticker sheet. Sticker sheets can be collected from the office. Drop your completed sticker sheet into one of the two Earn & Learn boxes, located next to the office window.
We redeem all sticker sheets for a choice of over 10,000 different pieces of brand new equipment. These items range from ICT, science, sports, mathematics, arts and crafts and more.
Please help us by collecting as many stickers as you can and completing your sticker sheet.
Thank you all very much and happy sticking!

Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge
The Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge is now open and Old Orchard Primary School is excited to be participating.
The Challenge is open to all Victorian children from birth to Year 10 in recognition of the importance of reading for literacy development. It is not a competition; but a personal challenge for children to read a set number of books by 6 September 2019.
Children from Prep to Year 2 are encouraged to read or ‘experience’ 30 books with their parents and teachers. Children from Year 3 to Year 10 are challenged to read 15 books.
All children who meet the Challenge will receive a certificate of achievement signed by the Victorian Premier and former Premiers.
To read the Premier’s letter to parents, view the booklists and for more information about the Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge, visit: www.education.vic.gov.au/prc
