What’s Happening in Kinder?
Exciting things are happening in Kindergarten! We loved writing about the snow we received on the weekend and are becoming very clever at working out the sounds we need in words! We are getting very clever at recognising digraphs (two letters - one sound) and came across a double digraph the other day in the word 'daughter' (the quadgraph 'augh', the children called it a double digraph which we think is pretty awesome thinking)!
In History we are talking about our own family history and in RE we are learning about the Holy Family. On Thursday we will attend a whole school mass with our Year 6 buddies for the Assumption of Mary. We are looking at how things move in Science, which fits in with our 3D shape unit in Mathematics as we are investigating things that slide and roll. Kindergarten is also having a great time at gymnastics. We have two sessions left, this Friday and next.
