Twilight Open Evening

What a beautiful afternoon we had for the Twilight Open Evening! The pre-loved uniform sale was a great success once again.

Thank you to everyone who has used the donation bin at the front of Reception. A big thank you to Ms Joanne Rees, Mrs Dora Papadakis, Mrs Emma Jekabsons and Mrs Sally Penaluna for all of your help with the sale.

The BBQ proved to be popular, we had some fabulous hospitality group students helping with the cooking and serving. A big thank you to  Celeste A, Gemma B, Cassidy C, Annalise C, Simon K, Eric F, Kent N, Angus M, Sienna R and Natalie S. Some of our teaching staff also went above and beyond to help. Thank you also to, Mrs Forward, Ms Garlick, Ms McArdle, Mr Forward and Mrs Crisara.

As always, we cannot run these events without the help of our committee; thank you to Mrs Stacy Heywood, Mrs Misal Belvedere and Ms Kathryn McKenzie.

Fairview Dance Party

Fairview students do not forget about the super exciting dance party we have coming up for you on Friday 16 November in Common Room 1. Entry costs $5 and is paid at the door. Glow sticks, drinks and chips will also be available for purchase, prices range from $1.00.

Fun Run

It is great to see so many people have started their fundraising pages for the Fun Run on Sunday 25 November. It is not too late to get involved. Registration forms need to be returned to the Accounts Office by Monday 19 November. Do not miss out on this amazing family day out. We have a jumping castle, face painting and Kelly Sports activities running on the day as well.

Annual General Meeting

On Monday 26 November, we will be holding our Annual General Meeting, where we will elect our committee for 2019. If you would like to be in the executive or a general member please email pandf@aitkencollege.edu.au to nominate yourself or someone you think would be a valuable member. Everyone is welcome to attend. The meeting time is 7.30pm and will be held upstairs in the Chapel and Performing Arts Centre seminar room (P24).
