Year 11 Students
Shortly all Year 11 students will receive an Excursion Permission Notice for the Year 11 Future Finder excursion to RMIT on Tuesday 27 November. This is an important excursion for students considering further study at TAFE or University post-Aitken. It is a great opportunity for students to learn more about the options available to them after secondary school and to obtain first hand experience of life on a University campus. Although this excursion takes place at RMIT, it is designed for all students, not only those who intend to study at RMIT, as it has much broader implications. Students will learn about studying at a tertiary institution and issues related to transition to tertiary study.

Career News Issue 17 is now available and includes information about a jobs and skills workshop opportunity at Kangan, an information evening about options for further study in 2019 at Swinburne University, Visual Art Summer schools at the Victorian College of the Arts (University of Melbourne), an automotive apprenticeship program, the Diploma of Screen and Media (Radio and Television) at Holmesglen, understanding University terms and much more.
