HELP NEEDED 

COVERING NEW BOOKS

Dear Parents/Carers,

We are seeking your support to do some book covering for our school Library. We have lots of exciting new books we want to get onto the shelves for our children to borrow but right now, they need to be covered in adhesive contact to protect them from wear and tear.

If you are able to take home a small bundle of books to cover, please see Gerry or Liz,in the Library, and we will provide you with the books and contact. Please bring a bag with you to carry them home.

Should you be able to assist, kindly return the slip below to your child’s teacher ASAP.

Year Five/Six News

This term the Grade 5/6s will be participating in the Australia Post Pen Pals program. After taking part in the program last year, the current Grade 6s were so excited to hear that we will be taking part again this year. We have been matched with Doonside Public School, a school in Western Sydney, NSW. As we wait for our first letters to arrive, we will be exploring the structure and features of letter writing. We started off with a brainstorm on “What makes a great letter?”. The students were full of great ideas and are eager to receive their first letter from their pen pal.
