Bingara Footy

At the end of last Term, our U13 boys travelled to Bingara to compete in the Country Cup North West Rugby League Finals Day.

Their first game was against Farrer, and the boys gained some confidence and played well. Farrer scored a couple of late tries to win the game by 16.

Next, we took on Inverell High, and our entire squad played extremely well. In a very tough, entertaining encounter, our team came out victorious 12-10.

The team’s sportsmanship was excellent throughout the day, so they should be proud of their efforts.

Thanks to Mr Conlon for coaching, Mr Honeysett and Mr Harper for organising and helping out.

Futsal Success

Well done to Yr 11 student, Tom Honeysett, who recently participated in the Australian Futsal Association Regionals Tournament, in Brisbane.

Tom, representing Far Northern NSW, in the U18’s, made the finals for the first time, eventually losing to Pine Rivers, 3-2, in a very exciting Grand Final.
