Year 10 Presentations

Subject to interest and COVID restrictions

During Term 3, we are aiming to offer you the opportunity to listen to some guest speakers talk about their industries and provide you with insight as to how they achieved their career goals. These will take place during the Wednesday afternoon Assessment Periods.

They will be for interested students only. You will need to register your interest via the Microsoft Form link and then an event will be created. Students who do not wish to attend will remain in collapsed assessment period classes.

If there are any industries or careers you are interested in hearing presenters speak on, please answer in the below link, or send me a message so we can see what can be organised.

Tradeswomen Australia “Women in Trades”

This presentation will be interesting and useful to both females and MALES interested in a career within the Trade Industry. The mission of Tradeswomen Australia is to support more women and girls into trades careers.

The presentation will include some information on diversity and inclusion and the work that we, as an organisation, are doing to support women in trades and a personal story from a tradeswoman to help bust myths and stereotypes around the kinds of women that work in trades. They will also share some practical tips and tools on apprenticeships and traineeships in partnership with Mas National.
