CURRICULUM FOCUS
We are learning to understand our emotions after mindfulness. We will investigate how our emotions change after being mindful and how we can recognise these changes to better our learning.
VOCABULARY
Emotions: Strong and honest feelings such as joyful, sadness, fear or happiness.
Mindfulness: Is taking notice of how your body feels, how you feel, see and smell.
ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING
Ask your child how they feel at the moment (Eg: After school). Then locate a video on meditation and let your child watch.
After watching, ask your child how they feel.
