Asking for Help

With only about 12 weeks until Year 12 exams begin, I think it is worth reminding everyone about how easy it is to ask for help at Horsham College.

Sometimes we become so caught up in not wanting bother people or not wanting people to think less of us, that we avoid asking for guidance and support when we really need it. All staff at Horsham College are open to supporting students who have questions about their academic success; if a particular staff member doesn’t know how to help, they will certainly be able to direct you to who can.

Year 12 students have the added bonus of all staff members treating their questions with high priority – we know the pressure that you are under, and we are all invested in your success. But support is open to every student. 

So next time you are stuck on a question or assessment, message your teacher or talk to a member of staff straight away, the sooner we hear about concerns, the sooner we can help you succeed.
