SPORTS UPDATE

We have had quite a few teams out representing the college at recent sporting events.

Loddon Mallee Region Netball

On 20th July we had three netball teams attend the LMR tournament in Bendigo. Our Year 7 & 8 teams were runners up on the day and the intermediate side came third.

Best Players: 

Intermediate: Audrey Domaille & Indi Grey

Year 8: Scarlet Grey & Minke Van Coller

Year 7: Pippa White, Violet Corrie & Isla Beasy 

Loddon Mallee Region Junior Football

On 25th July our Junior Football Team headed to the LMR tournament in Mildura.

The results of the day were:

Lost to Catherine McAuley College Bendigo by 2 goals

Defeated Bendigo South East by 5 goals

Lost to St Joseph's Mildura 1 goal

Lost to St Joseph's Echuca by 4 goals

Best Players: Julian Muir, Max Caruso, Tiger Vearing, Archie Alderuccio, Sam Brown, Oliver Alderuccio.

Loddon Mallee Region Intermediate Football

The following day our Intermediate Football Team played at the LMR tournament in Swan Hill. 

The results of the day were:

Defeated Maryborough by 4 goals

Defeated Catherine McAuley College by 2 points 

Defeated St Joseph's Echuca by 3 points

Lost to St Joseph's Mildura by 2 goals.

Best Players: Patrick Blake, Will Bennett, Zak O'Shannassy, Charlie King, Bodhi Kelly & Darcy Uebergang.

Girls Football 

On the 1st August we played a Girls Football match against Swan Hill College. MacKillop were defeated on the day but showed a great team effort. 

Best Players: Jenna Bannam, Ngaire Harlan, Charli Conway & Milla Pearson.
