This week in Health/P.E

ATHLETICS:

Thank you so much to all of our staff and students who made Athletics Day so wonderful. So much work goes into days like these, and it was so great to have such a well organised, smooth running event, minus some major traffic delays at the start. Congratulations to all our students. You represented our school so maturely and we are just so proud of you. The district team will be available soon, stay tuned year 5/6’s. A special mention to those families who came to watch on the day. You braved the late buses and cold weather, it was so great to have you there with us.

DISTRICT ATHLETICS:

District Athletics will be held on Wednesday the 16th of August at Meadowglen International Athletics Stadium. The MPS District team will go out early next week. Keep an eye out on communications to come. Buses have been booked and we will need permission and payment from parents once communications go out. 

RUGBY:

We have been so lucky to have the NRL – Melbourne Storm clinic come to our school. Classes across the school participated in rugby indoor and outdoor sessions. We have an after school rugby clinic starting this Thursday the 3rd of August for anyone interested. 3:45-4:45. The students have really enjoyed rugby. It is the first time we have had this sport at MPS. There was so much to learn and so much excitement. Thank you to the students for getting involved and having a go.
