In Writing, we have been exploring the persuasive devices authors use to convince the reader of their opinion. Our favourites so far are rhetorical questions, emotive language, modal verbs, alliteration, hyperbole, statistics and many more! 

Maths

Our multiplication game is strong! We have been working on the different strategies we can use to work out multiplication problems. You can see our think boards below, demonstrating some of our go-to strategies. 

Integrated 

Learning about democracy has been very interesting so far and we have explored the different levels of government and their responsibilities. We are currently focusing on the responsibilities of local government and have been preparing questions to ask a special guest next week.
