Food Technology

Year 7 students are enjoying their introduction to Food Technology. They have cooked their first recipe and are currently investigating the 'Australian guide to healthy eating'. What it is, and how it is used. They got hands on with a 3D version of the guide working together to place foods into 5 food groups.

 

 

Year 9 have been learning how to use a design brief. This task had them design and produce a focaccia display piece for a fictional bakery during spring carnival. They planned their designs, ordered their own produce and then produced their focaccia. They presented a range of excellent interpretations on the spring carnival theme.
