What: Science Show, Science Activities, Science Cinema and Dress Up Day.

Please ensure your permission note and payment is made by Thursday 9th August.

Also note that the specialist classes will not be affected by this event.

This promises to be a fantastic day to help us celebrate how Science impacts our lives.

The theme of National Science Week is Game Changers and Change Makers which has been developed using the following inspiration:

The 200th anniversary of the publication of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein (genetic engineering, biotechnologies, prosthetics, bionics, genetic modification, brain enhancement and ethics);
The 40th anniversary of the birth of the first IVF baby (genetic engineering, biotechnology, nanotechnology);
The International Year of the Reef (coral reefs and the scientists who study them).

As our Science Day kicks off the Science Week celebrations we have a number of activities planned in the courtyard at lunchtime during Week 5.
