CONCERT

Ticket Sales - A reminder to parents to get in quickly to book your concert tickets.  To get an indication of ticket availability, the number of tickets left are:

  • 476 for the Thursday Matinee
  • 156 for the Thursday Evening Performance
  • 58 for the Friday Evening Performance

So get in quickly to avoid disappointment. Families are able to purchase up to 5 tickets in total for evening performances and unlimited tickets for the Thursday Matinee.

Parent Helpers at Performances – Each concert we have a team of parents helping out with a range of jobs.  That enables staff to concentrate on looking after the kids, which is obviously important.  Attached is a doc showing the jobs we need filled.  Please call the ladies in the office if you are able to take on one of those roles.

Day Care on August 24 - A reminder that Kelly Sports will be providing a day care service on the Friday morning of concert week (remembering school starts at midday on Friday Aug 24).  The cost for this service will be $30 per child.  Call the ladies in the office to book a place and make payment.  Bookings for this service need to be in by Friday August 17.

Parent Information Booklet - A reminder to everyone that we have put together a Concert Parent Information Booklet, the latest version of which is attached to this page.

Your class teacher will be sending home information specific to your child’s class.

Prep Health Questionnaires

Attention Prep families:

Please look out for the 2018 Student Entrant Health Questionnaire which will be sent home with your child this week. This is to be completed by the parent/carer(s) of all prep students and returned to the school no later than 20th August 2018:

The Primary School Nursing Program (PSNP) is a free service offered by the Department of Education and Training, to all children attending primary schools and English Language Centre schools in Victoria.

Primary school nurses visit schools throughout the year to provide children with the opportunity to have a health assessment; provide information and advice about healthy behaviours and link children and families to community based health and wellbeing services

The PSNP is designed to identify children with potential health related learning difficulties and to respond to parent/carer concerns and observations about their child's health and well-being. Parent/carer(s) complete the School Entrant Health Questionnaire (SEHQ) which is distributed during the first year of school. With parent/carer consent, follow up health assessments are conducted by the school nurse as indicated.
