Parent Teacher Interviews

Thank you to all those Parents who took the time to speak with staff at last week’s Parent Teacher Student Interviews. The communication between school and home is important in ensuring that students feel supported in their learning. For those students who were given advice on how to improve their learning outcomes, now is the time to put in place the recommendations of your teachers.  For those parents who were unable to attend, please feel free to email or make phone contact with your son or daughters teachers.

Unit 3 and 4 Trial Examinations

A reminder that any student undertaking a Unit 3/ 4 subject are required to attend Trial Examinations in the upcoming holidays. Feedback from these examinations will provide valuable insight into what is already known and what still needs to be consolidated prior to the Term 4 VCE examination.

Examination schedules were published last week. All examinations take place between Tuesday, 1 October 2019 and Friday, 4 October 2019.

Please check with your son and daughter and make sure they are well prepared. Students may wear casual clothes during these Trial examination period.

2020 VCE Subject Allocations

Dear Parents and Guardians

The allocation of subjects for 2020 is determined by student choice via Web Preferences subject selection. I am delighted to announce that the College will offer the following subjects in 2020.  As we continue to grow as a College we will endeavour to continue to offer an expanded range of options for our students.

As a College we constantly look for creative ways to offer as many options as possible. This means in 2020 that Year 12 Literature will once again run via Video Link across Campus. Students will have contact time with their teacher spread across the 9 periods allocated and will undertake incursions to the respective Campus throughout the year.

Because of the extremely low numbers of students wishing to complete some courses, these will be offered as combination classes.

If you have any further questions regards these subjects or other curriculum matters, please do not hesitate to contact myself at the College on 5990 7777.
