DRAMA in 3-6 

Welcome back to Drama in Years 3-6.

What an incredible welcome back to Drama for Year’s 3-6 at Brookside in 2023. This term students in Year 3 have been improvising short performances where they have explored their physical movement voice and expression. After weeks of experimenting, they have ventured back in time to the land of dinosaurs. They have been sent on a mission to observe and report their findings all the while demonstrating their newly acquired performance skills.

Students in Grade 5, did a deep dive into developing their own characters. They utilised the 5W’s process (who, what, where, when, why) to determine who the characters where and extended them by attending a special event where they met with other created characters at a wedding. There have been many laughs in class with some sensational characters developed.

3B – Charlotte, Jordan, River, Zachary, Lucas, Omar, Myles and Hosain

3C – Joshua, Ashton, Abigail, Abby, Tyson, Belle, Zehra, Hethav, Raymond and Boyd

3D – Dakota, Delilah, Lilly, Osman, Cruz, Axel, Samuel, William and Jarben

5B – Dia and Sofia

5C – Abigail and Aarav

As we look ahead to Term 2, with much anticipation and excitement. We eagerly welcome back our Mini Class Production format, where all students will participate to put on a show for you as a mini movie performing in front of many digital backgrounds.
