P&C Information 

 President Report 

In 2022, the Martin's Gully P&C continued their work as supporters and contributors to our wonderful school.

Our AGM was held in term 1. The executive team included Jess, Emma, Julianne, Phoebe and myself.

We continued to hold lunch order days, our annual events such as Easter Raffle, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day stalls and operate the clothing pool.

In 2022, our major Fundraiser event was the slime run which was a huge success. We also had the opportunity to cater for the PSSA Zone athletics carnival, although there were a couple of false starts due to weather, this was a successful fundraiser for our school. We finished the year with our Christmas Party, which was a great opportunity to get our families back into the school after the covid restrictions.

In 2022 the P&C donated $40881 back to our school.

This included

$20,000 - grant for the basketball court upgrade

$7500 - new iPads

$314- K-2 Book donations

$199 - new BBQ

$720 - presentation awards

$3500 - P&C contribution to basketball court upgrade

$600- donations to student who attend state events

$500- new hockey equipment

$7548 - 5/6 bus excursion/new leotards/robotic equipment

I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank the P&C committee for the endless commitment and dedication in ensuring the students at Martin's Gully Public School can receive the best experiences.

I would like to make special mention to our 2 outgoing executives, Phoebe and Julianne.

Julianne has been an active P&C Member for 6 years, she is so generous with her time, no task was too small or too big.

We will miss seeing her hand being the first one up to organise the raffle tickets and seeing her at lunch order days. Julianne’s easy-going nature has always had a calming effect in the chaos of lunch order day.

Phoebe has held the treasurer role since 2020. Phoebe was the driving force behind the introduction of Qkr! Qkr! has changed the way the P&C operates. It has streamlined many processes but most importantly decreased the workload for our executives. We no longer need to count and recount orders. Banking and counting cash is a thing of the past.

Thank you both for the contribution you have made.

Lastly to the entire Martin's Gully Public School community, your contribution, whether it is buying a lunch order, donating raffle prizes or volunteering, your time is highly valued and appreciated and we thank you for your continued support.

P&C Easter celebrations - 6th April 2023

In conjunction with our annual Easter Hat Parade,  the P&C will be holding an Easter hamper raffle and a Hot Cross Bun Drive. 

EASTER RAFFLE

We are asking each family to donate an item to go towards the hamper.  Items can be left at the front office.

Tickets are $2 each and can be purchased on Qkr! or with cash.

The raffle will be drawn at the Easter Hat Parade on 6th April 2023.

HOT CROSS BUN DRIVE

Hot Cross Buns - Orders can be picked up on Thursday 6th April.
