Spotlight - Managing Student Workloads
During the year Huntingtower staff offer a series of “Spotlights on …” that the broader community are invited to.
The next Spotlight will be a webinar focusing on ‘Managing student workloads’ on Wednesday 22 March, 6.30pm via Zoom (Link will be supplied).
Other future possible topics include:
- eSafety and Digital Wellbeing
- Snapshot on Curriculum
- Futures Thinking and Pathways

HOSA Sporting Hall of Fame
On Friday 3 March 26 old students, ex and and current staff were inducted into the inaugural HOSA Sporting Hall of Fame. The Athletes were from 15 diverse sports. Dr. Matt Silcocks (Class 2010 and paralympian) addressed the senior students. From our current staff, ex-motorcycle racer, Geoff Hardcastle and ex-cricketer, Leigh Parsons were inducted.
The current Sports Captains led the ceremony with confidence, with half the inductees there in person to receive their awards. Several others sent in inspirational video messages.
The Sporting Hall of Fame can be viewed in the Senior Gym mezzanine.
