Stage 3 News

It’s hard to believe we are already in Week 7! What a busy term Stage 3 has had so far.

We have been hard at work in the classroom participating in our whole Stage Number Talks during Mathematics, creating engaging sizzling starts in writing and learning about animals during our Zoomobile visit.  We have included some photographs of these activities.

For Year 6, it is an exciting time of year.  In Week 5, every child had the opportunity to design a Year 6 polo shirt pattern.  All designs displayed a great deal of thought and planning.  Every shirt design offered was visually appealing which made it very difficult to vote for just one!!  The children voted on their favourite and an overall winner was chosen. You will have to wait for the shirts to be worn to see which design was successful.  The shirt designs are included below.

TEACHERS SHINING

This year our staff are celebrating the successes of our teachers each week.  In our staff room we have a "SHINE box" where teachers and other staff acknowledge each other and the contributions we are making at our amazing school.  Below are the names that were drawn out from the box last week.
