Relay for Life

On Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 March a number of our Year 10 students participated in Relay for Life. The weather was thankfully in our favour for the most part and everyone participated with great enthusiasm, especially considering minimal sleep was had by all. It was also wonderful to see many of the Mount Carmel Alumni still participating in the event after all these years.
A big thank you to Mrs Megan Richardson, Mrs Lyndal Tewes and Ms Valery Kullrich who joined the team and supported this great cause. Without their enthusiasm and kindness, opportunities such as these would not be available to our students.
Together as a community we raised $6,469.24, which is a truly phenomenal amount for such a small team.
