Sacrament of Reconciliaton

Congratulations to our 23 students who participated in the Sacrament of Reconciliation.  Through identifying words, thoughts and actions that may hurt their relationship with Christ and others, they asked for forgiveness, love and mercy and to reconcile with God.

Loving God help us to teach our children that you love us totally and unconditionally.

Help us to encourage our children to grow in love and to learn how to say sorry,

knowing that you always forgive.

Give us the courage to pray with our children and to share our faith with them as we journey together.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen

You're invited!

Stations of the Cross will be led by our senior students on Wednesday 5th April at 2:15pm.  This year the event will be held in the Church.

The Stations of the Cross are a beautiful expression of the core of our faith, which is that Jesus embraced the dramas of every human life, our triumphs and failures, our joys and sorrows.

In the Stations, we remember how the Lord is with us, especially when we seem to be stuck and have lost the way forward. He walks with us, trips with us when we stumble, and helps us to our feet again.

Each station recalls a moment when Jesus stopped. A “station” means simply a place of stopping, as trains stop in railway stations. Jesus is close to us when we too are stopped in our tracks and wonder whether we can carry on anymore.

We may be halted by illness or failure, by grief, loss or despair. But Jesus carries on, making his slow way to the cross and to the resurrection, and brings us with himself in hope.

REMINDER:

Next week is the last week to donate to our Caritas Project Compassion campaign.  Thank you to those who have donated to their house tap over the past few weeks.  We will let you know house fundraising results next term.
