Parents & Friends Association

The P&F Executive has been busy preparing a list of potential fundraising events for this year.  One of our favourite events, the Kinross Wolaroi School Fair has been noticeably absent over the past couple of years.  We are happy to announce that it will be back in early 2024.  We are really looking forward to it and we are already preparing the groundwork for it to happen. I can’t wait to see our school once again buzzing with parents, family and friends enjoying the many activities and stalls that a country fair has to offer.

A new P&F Committee will be taking over the reins after the AGM on Wednesday 15 March.  I speak on behalf of the current P&F Executive when I say we have all enjoyed being part of a capable and energetic group of parents and carers donating their time to help create a warm and vibrant parent community at our school.  Volunteering is a rewarding role that gives back in spades.  Please come along to the AGM and be an active member of your P&F. We wish the 2023/2024 P&F Executive every success.

All positions of Office will be declared vacant at the forthcoming AGM. Positions include President, Vice President (x2 positions), Secretary, Treasurer, and a number of Sub-Committee positions.  We have a wealth of talented parents within our school community so please feel free to contact us for information if you are interested in nominating for any of these positions at pandfpresident@kws.nsw.edu.au.

Year 1 Picnic at Lake Canobolas

Lucy and James, our wonderful Year 1 Parent representatives have kicked off the year with a picnic at Lake Canobolas for the Year 1 students, families, and friends.  It was a lovely day for a picnic! 

Kindergarten Picnic Invitation

Kindergarten families please join us at Lake Canobolas on Sunday 19 March from 2pm onwards. We will be on the far side of the lake where the little playground is located.

Please bring a picnic rug, chairs, snacks, and drinks. Should the weather not be on our side, we will relocate to the Robin Hood.

Year 8 'Welcome to 2023' Event

Year 8 P&F Year Representatives, Nikki Jardine and Leiarna Dunworth, invite Year 8 parents and carers to attend a special Year 8 parents’ evening to welcome you back for 2023.

WHEN | Saturday 25 March 2023, 6pm – held the evening after the Boarder Drinks we hope many of the boarder parents will still be in town!

TICKETS | $60pp includes platters of pizza, garlic bread, arancini, calamari and wings, as well as a drink on arrival
