LPPS STUDENTS WELCOME AUSLAN

I am so thrilled with the enthusiasm and engagement from all classes when visiting me in the Auslan room over the last few weeks. Even more pleasing, some students are trying out the signs they have learned with me in the yard! This week in Year 1- Year 6 we worked on fingerspelling the alphabet and many students asked if they could have a resource to keep practising at home, so here it is! You could play “snowman” (like hangman) or I spy but using fingerspelling to express the letter, or just simply practice signing things that you see, names of family members, book characters or animals.
